He says, “For an inaugural event, we had first class cycling teams, we had great weather, we had a lot of people watching our race and with the ability to showcase our province around the world and each community that we were in; it was just a huge success.”
Vinneau adds 41 million viewers tuned into the race around the world and the event generated over 16 million related Tweets.
This year’s race will also include last year’s winner Rohan Dennis, along with Canadian Ryder Hesjedal.
