Drunk cow killer gets three years probation

A 20-year-old man has been given three years of probation for shooting four cows while drunk at a party in Stony Plain.

The National Post reports, Julian Brady Bliss pleaded guilty to shooting the animals and said he used a rifle he’d taken from his father.

The cows were severely wounded and those that didn’t die right away had to be put down by a vet.

The Court of Queen’s Bench Justice called it “a senseless act of violence against innocent animals.”

She added, he’d come close to getting prison time.
