Holy Cross Centre re-opens

Healthcare services will be returning to the Holy Cross Centre in the next few weeks, nearly a year after the flood devastated the site.

Alberta Health Services and Carewest have announced they will be slowly starting programs and services back up at the southwest Calgary facility.

Officials say significant flood remediation has taken place in the past several months and a thorough inspection will take place before they can move back in.

Rouleau Manor, a 77-bed long-term care facility, will be resuming operations.

Cancer care services will also slowly be phased back in.
