Pet limit debate delayed

A city proposal to look into the number of pets residents can have has been put off until the next council meeting.
The mayor says the proposal is pretty straight forward.
“I certainly won’t be spending a lot of time thinking about this, and I think it’s important to listen to perspectives and think a little bit and get it right. I don’t like making policy in response to a bad incident,” he said.
Nenshi says the way Diane Colley-Urquhart wrote the proposal to talk to other people makes a lot of sense, but it will be dealt with at a future date.
