Mountain backdrop for wine fest

The Banff Springs Hotel plays host to the Rocky Mountain Wine and Food Festival this weekend.
Liz Horner with the festival tells 660News, the grand tasting hall opens Friday night.
“Consumers can expect a huge selection of food, wine, spirits and some of the best bites in Banff,” she said. “In addition to that, there are some other smaller food and wine events over the weekend. It’s kind of the cherry on top.”
The food is courtesy of local chefs, from the Rimrock Resort, Sunshine Mountain Lodge and many others.
Tickets are sold out for the Saturday evening tasting, but are still available for Friday evening and Saturday afternoon.
