Mission Possible looking for aid

An organization that rushed to help thousands of homeowners when the June flood hit the Calgary region, now needs help itself.

Mission Possible Director Farah Khoja said many of the donations they collected to assist flood victims need to be moved out.

“The warehouse that we had which was generously donated by SAIT is being shut down, so we were hoping to get everything out to keep all that are affected by the floods, or even people that are in need,” she said. “So we’re just putting a call out there to say if you need stuff, just come and see us.”

Their northeast warehouse is located at 2015 Centre Ave. and will be open for pick up Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.

Items available for pick-up for a donation include beds, desks, tile and drywall.
