The Global Petroleum Show 2014 wraps up

The tear down following the 2014 Global Petroleum Show at Stampede Park continues.

Companies that participated in the show have until Saturday morning to get out, to make way for the Stampede which kicks off in three weeks.

The Executive Vice President of DMG Events, Wes Scott tells 660News, now that Petroleum Show is an annual event he’s not overly concerned if the show is a bit smaller.

“So if the Global Petroleum Show is a little bit smaller moving forward that’s alright; it’s more about quality of the experience than it is quantity of the show as an annual event,” Scott said.

More than 66,000 people attended this year’s event and next year’s show, which is already 80 per cent sold out, runs from June 9-11.
