A woman is dead and three men have been taken to hospital after a crash along the TransCanada highway east of Golden Tuesday morning.

The collision involving a Toyota Camry and pick-up truck happened around 8:30a.m. near the entrance gates to Yoho National Park.

The woman, a passenger in the Camry, died on scene while the male driver was taken to Golden hospital and then flown to a hospital here in Calgary.

The two people in the truck were also taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

RCMP said they are looking at possible driver inattention or even a medical issue as possible causes for the crash.
