Leaning light standard shuts down part of SB Crowchild

A leaning light standard has emergency and Enmax crews out on Crowchild Trail.
Carol Henke with the Fire Dept. said they got a call from the scene near Bow Trail.
“Early this afternoon we received a phone call from a driver on Crowchild that there was a light standard that was leaning and that is obviously a safety issue,” she said.
One SB left-hand lane has been blocked off as crews work to fix the problem and if necessary for public safety, they will close more.
