An early morning rollover in the city’s southwest has sent two people to hospital, including one in life-threatening condition.

The crash happened around 1:30 a.m. at Macleod Trail and 18th Avenue S.W., with the driver suffering life-threatening injuries.

The passenger was also taken to hospital, but has since been released.

Police say speed and alcohol are believed to have been factors in the crash.
