Conference Board to release flood report

A report looking at the city’s response to the 2013 flood will be released Wednesday.

The Conference Board of Canada was commissioned to interview over 40 representatives from the public and private sectors, including many who worked in the Emergency Operations Centre and had critical roles in dealing with the disaster.

The board will be presenting the results to representatives from Calgary city council along with the Calgary Emergency Management Agency at 9:30 Wednesday morning.

The report called “Forewarned and Forearmed,” will then be released to the public.
