McCall Lake Golf Course closer to being saved

The McCall Lake Golf Course is close to being given a new lease on life.
A council committee approved a decision Wednesday, not to sell and re-develop the northeast site.
Members of the community have been fighting to save the golf course, touting its inexpensiveness and popularity.
The city argued the course just didn’t make enough money to afford its upkeep.
However, new numbers have suggested a sale of the site would not make enough cash.
The decision still has to be approved by full city council.
