Stampede Caravan continues pancake breakfasts

For Calgarians looking for a flapjack fix, the Stampede Caravan is set up in two locations Tuesday morning.

You can grab some grub at Douglas Square in the southeast and at Market Mall in the northwest.

Spokesperson Ruth Ann Rayner tells 660News, they’ve been handing out an average of 5000 breakfasts at each location so far this Stampede.

“We feed them all from 9-11 a.m. They get their free pancakes, and syrup and sausage, and juice. And of course the kids love the petting zoos and the pony rides. Everything is going along very well,” she said.

Rayner says it takes roughly 70 volunteers at each location to feed the masses.
