Calgary Police and RCMP will be back on scene searching an Airdrie property Wednesday, for clues about the whereabouts of a missing five year old boy and his grandparents.
Nathan O’Brien, and Kathryn and Alvin Liknes have been missing since June 29.
Meanwhile, we’re learning more about the person of interest in the case, Douglas Garland.
Documents released from the Parole Board of Canada dating back to 2000 show Garland had a history of weapons and assault charges.
However, while he served time related to a drug lab bust, he was never convicted of a violence-related charge.
A psychological assessment also found he was unlikely to act violently.
Police say they have no other persons of interest in the case, but are following up on several other leads.
