Emergency protest to end Palestinian collective punishment

Two groups against the collective punishment of Palestinians are holding an emergency protest in Calgary.

The gathering will happen Friday evening in front of City Hall at 6:00 p.m.

The Solidarity for Palestinian Human Rights and Justice for Palestinians are hoping Calgarians will show their support and put pressure on Israel to stop the killings and attacks.

The groups say that Israel has escalated its occupation in the West Bank and in the last couple of days, have attacked more than 400 sites in Gaza killing at least 41 people and injuring hundreds more.
