Massive crater appears in Siberia

It’s a hole in the end of the world.

A 50-80 metre crater has been discovered in Siberia in an area where the name translates to ‘the end of the world.’

The mysterious hole was found by helicopter pilots in the Yamal Peninsula some thirty miles from the region’s largest gas field.

The Siberian Times suggests climate change may be responsible and says authorities have ruled out a meteorite.

They say it was likely the result of an underground explosion.
