AHS warning to stay safe on ATV’s over the long weekend

The August long weekend means many will head to the great outdoors.
So Alberta Health Services (AHS) is out with a warning for ATV enthusiasts.
Proper safety equipment should always be used according to Dr. Brent Friesen.
“ATV’s really shouldn’t be operated by children under the age of 16,” he said. “They just don’t have the physical ability and strength to safely operate them”
He also warned not to drink before operating ATV’s.
Over half of the people who die in ATV crashes test positive for alcohol.
