A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for a 49-year-old man, suspected of kidnapping a woman from northern Alberta.
RCMP responded to a complaint that a woman had been abducted Monday, from the small town of Fox Creek, northwest of Edmonton, after she was allegedly forced into a vehicle at gunpoint.
The woman was able to escape after a two hour ordeal and appears to be in good condition.
David James Rogerson is wanted in relation to this case, and RCMP say not to approach him, as he’s believed to be armed and dangerous.
He’s described as 5′ 7″, caucasian, unshaven and wearing blue jeans and a light brown jacket.
The vehicle in question is described as a black 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee, with the British Columbia licence plate, 655 MPR.
Anyone with information is urged to call RCMP or Crimestoppers.
