Calgary emergency responders have suspended a search at Sikome Lake in Fish Creek Provincial Park.
Fire rescue crews will be back in the water Tuesday morning.
A 29 year old man went missing after the inflatable water raft he, three other adults and two children were floating on, flipped, Monday afternoon.
One of the children, an infant boy, was rescued and taken to hospital as a precaution.
Many witnesses rushed from the shore to help around 4 p.m., when cries came out from the man-made waterway.
The water rescue search included two grid sweeps, with help from the public, and three fire department aquatic units.
