Bobsleigh Canada is hoping you’ll be the next Olympic hero!

High performance directors and coaches are in town Saturday hosting a recruitment camp, hoping to pick up young athletes interested in the sliding sports.

The camp begins at 10 a.m. with a $10 entrance fee.

The organization says athletes with backgrounds in football, rugby, track, lacrosse, skiing, snowboarding and other mountain sports typically develop into good sliders.

Athletes trying out will be put through a series of sprinting and weight lifting tests.

Coaches will be scouting in Vancouver and Ottawa as well.
