Prosecutor takes over Bantleman case

A public prosecutor has taken over the case of a former Calgary teacher jailed in Indonesia.

Neil Bantleman’s family and friends maintain he’s innocent of child sex abuse allegations at Jakarta International School.

Bantleman has not been charged, despite being held in jail for 30 days.

Bantleman’s brother has been tweeting Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird, and Prime Minister Stephen Harper, in the hopes of getting their attention.

So far, neither have responded.
