Some Calgary, Edmonton Shell stations facing gas shortages

If you normally fill up at Shell gas stations, you may need to look hard for a station to fill-up at due to a gas shortage.
Stations in Calgary and Edmonton are experiencing shortages because of a supply interruption at the Shell Scotford Refinery near Fort Saskatchewan dating back to an operational issue on Aug. 9.
Spokesperson Cameron Yost told 660News they regret any inconvenience to customers.
“The situation is a bit of a moving target because as some stations run out of fuel they may be restocked later in the day or later in the week just by virtue of the fact we’re hard at work trying to find product for those customers who need it,” he explained.
He can’t say how long the shortages will last.
