ASIRT investigating Colton Crowshoe case

The disappearance of an 18-year-old, who was later found murdered in Calgary, is now being reviewed by the Alberta Serious Incident Response Team.

The police watchdog has been called in to investigate the interaction Colton Crowshoe had with the Calgary Police Service, when he was arrested in early July, just days before he went missing.

Crowshoe was taken into custody for loitering and family allege he was roughed up.

They also claim officers did not take his missing person case seriously.

On July 25th, Crowshoe was found dead in a northeast pond and police determined he was murdered.
