Shell Canada says several gas stations in Alberta are out of gas due to a problem at its refinery Northeast of Edmonton.
A Shell official said it is because of an upset at its Scotford refinery near Fort Saskatchewan that happened on August ninth.
It is not known exactly how many stations have been affected by the gas shortage or when they would be back up and running.
Shell said staff are working very hard to solve the problem and apologize to customers for the inconvenience.
