Calgary welcomes two new zoo juniors

The black bear exhibit at the Calgary Zoo is growing by two!

The park reports orphaned bear cubs from the Yukon have made it safely to our city.

Back in July the Yukon provincial government determined the twins were a danger to the community and found a suitable home in Calgary’s zoo.

The young pair have completed their journey safely and are now in quarantine.

After a medical check up they will join lonely white-black bear, Manuka.
