Experts worry about PC election results

We don’t yet know the new leader of the PC Party in Alberta but there is already controversy over the vote.

The party is using a new e-voting system that does not limit the amount of votes casted by one phone.

Mount Royal University political scientist Duane Bratt told The National Post the system is “ripe for abuse” and a person could case up to 30 votes themselves.

The party’s executive director says they will monitor the system and start asking questions if the number of calls from one phone line is higher than normal.
