Late night stabbing injures man

One man is in hospital after a stabbing in the downtown late Monday night.

The man wandered into the Drop-In Centre around midnight, suffering from stab wounds.

He was originally in life-threatening condition, but has since been upgraded to serious.

Detective Steve Adair said they don’t believe the attack happened near the centre.

“We are still trying to determine where the stabbing happened; at this point we have no suspects,” he said.

It’s not yet clear what led to the assault.
