We may have had higher than average snow fall this past winter but city officials weren’t any busier dealing with complaints about slippery sidewalks.
This winter saw 64.3 centimetres of snow in Calgary, about four centimetres more than average.
The City of Calgary reports only 293 complaints have been called in to 3-1-1 since January 1st, 2015.
In the same time span last year, more than 11,000 complaints were filed.
For the entire snowfall season of 2014, nearly 15,000 calls were made, and 12,000 were filed in 2013.
