Man stabbed in downtown core

One person has been rushed to hospital after a stabbing downtown overnight.
Police were called to the 800 block of 4 Avenue S.W. around 12:30 a.m. Monday.
Acting Sgt. David Fakas said police received a 911 call from a security guard.
“He discovered a male there with multiple injuries,” Fakas said. “The male was conscious, breathing and had multiple stab wounds to his upper body. He was transported to local hospital by EMS in serious but stable condition.”
Investigators believe the man stumbled about a block away from the crime scene looking for help.
