As the weather gets warmer, expect more and more construction projects to tie up city streets.
Construction on the interchange at Ogden Road and Glenmore Trail will begin shortly in the city’s southeast.
Crews are already doing some preliminary work and soon, the City of Calgary’s Chris McGeachy says they’ll really ramp up construction.
“It will include a new bridge over Ogden Road. Part of it is an implementation of new stormwater management in the construction area but part of it is we’re also building a new roadway on Glenmore Trail between Ogden Road and Barlow Trail,” added McGeachy.
Expect the weapons of mass construction to move in, in a big way, within the next few weeks — and then, expect that project to continue at Glenmore & Ogden/Shepard for the next two years.
