A Calgary man has been killed in a crash that closed the Trans-Canada Highway east of Field, B.C., overnight Friday.
An eastbound vehicle missed a curve and collided head on with a westbound vehicle, carrying two men from Calgary.
The 37-year old passenger died at the scene and the 32-year old driver was treated and released. The Salmon Arm man behind the wheel of the other vehicle was airlifted by STARS to Calgary with serious injuries.
Speed and alcohol are suspected factors.
Golden RCMP say they will likely lay charges of impaired driving causing death.
