Yellow Door Bistro

Where: 119 12 Ave SW, yellowdoorbistro.ca

What: A French-influenced restaurant inside of Hotel Arts. The room is bright and airy with whimsical accents like black rabbit lamps, cobweb-style lighting fixtures and a large window shuttered accent wall.

Price point: Moderate. The $25 for the morning buffet is money well spent.

Pro: When it comes to the weekend brunch buffet, this place really knocks it out of the park and the a la carte dishes are great too.

Con: Could have a slightly better morning cocktail list.
