The Calgary Stampeders are champions on the field and in the community Thursday morning as they host their annual kick-off breakfast with the Calgary Urban Project Society (CUPS).

It’s all to raise awareness for the most vulnerable individuals in our city and to mark the start of our Grey Cup winning team’s football season.

For the 23rd year, the Calgary Stampeders will join hands with alumni and corporate Calgary for the fundraiser.

This year’s theme is ‘Champions for Change’ and the Calgary Tower will be lit up blue and orange in honour of the event.

Doors open at 7:30 a.m. at the Hyatt Regency Calgary.
