A motorcyclist has serious injuries after a crash Wednesday night in the northeast.
It happened around 11 p.m. in the 2300 block of 52 Street NE.
Duty Inspector David Facas said there was a close call with someone walking nearby.
“The initial report was that the pedestrian was struck by the motorcycle, but once our units got on scene and started to investigate, we determined the motorcycle did not hit the pedestrian and the driver of the motorcycle was thrown from his vehicle,” he said.
The biker was rushed to hospital and an investigation is now underway.
