There will be a big celebration at St. Isabella School Friday.
It’s the grand opening of the new playground in the southeast community of Copperfield.
The school raised $120,000 for the project, and another $125,000 came from the provincial government.
Some 170 volunteers, including some Calgary Police officers, helped construct the playground.
The event is set for 2:30 p.m.
