RV enthusiasts will have the chance to take to the roads this weekend for a good cause.
The first annual National RV Weekend will see campground across Canada come together to help raise funds for Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Go RVing’s Christopher Mahoney told 660 News, there are a total of 20 campgrounds participating.
“We created wish lanterns and all these lanterns that people buy at campgrounds will go 100% towards the Make-A-Wish Foundation,” said Mahoney.
“As a sign of unity and community we are all going to launch the lanterns at 10 p.m. local time.”
The two participating campsites in Alberta will be at Ol’ MacDonald’s Resort and Mountain View Calgary Camping.
