For the second time in as many days, a man has been hit and killed by a C-Train.
It happened Thursday morning near the Sunridge station in the northeast.
36th Street and 26th Avenue were closed for the investigation and Calgary Transit says it will use shuttle buses during the disruption to train service.
The circumstances around the incident are unclear.
On Wednesday afternoon, a man was hit and killed at a pedestrian crossing at Chinook station.
The 44-year-old victim was hit by a southbound train while he attempted to cross the tracks.
Calgary Transit says the barriers were down, and the signals were flashing.
