A new poll from Angus Reid is trying to find out what Stephen Harper’s legacy was while leading the country.
According to the survey, one-third of Canadians polled feel lowering the GST was his biggest accomplishment.
Shachi Kurl with Angus Reid told 660 NEWS that Harper sometimes led by his own style.
“He always did his best to come across, not exactly as Mr. Personality, and always sort of disavowed any kind of judgement on him leading right
up until and through the campaign where he tried to talk about how the election was not about him,” says Kurl.
Other people polled feel the biggest failure of Harper was pulling out of the Kyoto and muzzling Canadian scientists.
