Potential abduction caught on tape

Police want the public to watch a potential abduction on a busy downtown street that was all caught on tape.

Calgary Police are looking for help finding a man that was pulled into a grey Chevy Cruz on Stephen Ave. near 1 St. SW, at about 10 p.m. Wednesday night.

Police say the Chevy was working with a blue Dodge Caliber, and men from both cars got out and approached a group on the street.

After a short altercation, a taxi camera video shows a man being forced into the Chevy Cruz.

Officers say one of the men from the Dodge Caliber tried to block traffic to let the other car make a clean getaway.

Police are concerned about the man’s safety, and they’re asking for witnesses to speak with police.
