Police have taken two people in for questioning, after they located a vehicle believed to be connected to a brazen shooting on Stephen Ave. Thursday night.
Around 10:30 Thursday night, a man and woman, both in their 20s, were standing in the 200 block of 8 Avenue SW when a car drove up, and shots were fired.
Both were taken to hospital in serious but stable condition.
Police located the vehicle at a gas station on 16 Avenue NW, but say it’s not yet known whether the two occupants were directly involved in the shooting.
Initial indications led police to believe the vehicle may also be linked to the possible abduction of a man in downtown Calgary on Wednesday.
The connection to the two incidents is still under investigation.
The man who may have been abducted has not yet been identified or located, and no one has been reported missing matching his description.
