Pedestrian killed in Penhold hit and run

A pedestrian is dead after a hit and run in the community of Penhold, south of Red Deer.
RCMP are trying to figure out if the person was intentionally run over.
Witnesses reported seeing a car hit the pedestrian Thursday evening around 5:45 near the Penhold Multiplex.
The car drove off but got stuck on a berm. The driver jumped out and fled on foot but was arrested soon after.
So far no word on charges.
