What: A speakeasy-style spot in Kensington, just underneath Oak Tree Tavern (by the same owner). The interior is cozy and eclectic with big booths and design accents like vintage mirrors, chandeliers and old, dusty books piled here and there. It feels like a movie set for a Sherlock Holmes movie in a good way.
Price point: Moderate. A little cheaper than some other higher end cocktail spots in the city.
Pro: It’s great that there’s now a place to go in Calgary’s Northwest for a well-made cocktail. Kensington needed a spot like this.
Con: The food offerings are pretty minimal, but this place is really all about the cocktails anyway.
