Mealshare: Road to One Million

This Thursday, November 19th, Mealshare will provide their 500,000th meal to someone in need through their buy one, give one program.
Mealshare is partnered with the Calgary Drop-In Centre, as well as Save the Children.
The organization’s Breanne Sich explains how the system works:
“If you were to go to any one of our partner restaurants and have a look at their menu, you would see our Mealshare logo beside a couple of their menu items. As a guest, if you were to order that Mealshare-branded menu item, you would get your meal just as normal, you don’t have to pay anything extra, but
now, somebody else either through the Drop-In Centre or Save the Children Canada, is going to be receiving a meal just by you ordering that item,” she said.
Eight Canadian celebrities are supporting the fight against hunger and are teaming up with Mealshare.
