The Calgary Stampeders will not be playing for their second consecutive Grey Cup.
The football club lost the Western Conference final to the Edmonton Eskimos 45 -31 in Edmonton Sunday afternoon.
Mike Reilly was the star for the Eskimos, scoring two touchdowns himself and throwing for three more.
Edmonton now plays the Ottawa Redblacks for the championship next weekend in Winnipeg.
The Stampeders were the defending CFL champions, defeating Hamilton in last year’s Grey Cup.
This is the first time Edmonton has played in the big game since 2005.
