Edmonton knocks out Calgary to advance to Grey Cup

All was quiet on Calgary Stampeder front Monday, after the team lost the CFL’s West Final to the Edmonton Eskimos Sunday, by a score of 45-31.

Sportsnet 960 The Fan’s Ryan Pinder says you have to tip your hat to the Eskimos.

“Everytime the Eskimos needed a good play, they got one. You have to give them full marks, full credit for being the Western representative in the Grey Cup, and they’ll be, I would think pretty big favourites,” he said.

Edmonton will be taking on the Ottawa Redblacks for the Grey Cup next Sunday in Winnipeg.
