New numbers from Abacus Data indicate a passing grade for Canada’s prime minister, after his first few weeks in office.
According to Abacus, 51 per cent approve of the job Justin Trudeau is doing, compared to the 19 per cent, who aren’t pleased.
Abacus Data CEO David Colletto told 660 NEWS, even in a Conservative stronghold like Alberta, many are happy with Trudeau, even though it’s a smaller margin here.
“Pretty much if you voted Liberal, NDP or Green and you live in Alberta, you probably approve so far,” he explained. “In part, it’s because it’s not Stephen Harper and the Conservatives anymore.”
Trudeau’s strongest numbers are in the areas of openness and accountability.
