This article is more than 5 years old.

He’s not exactly Garfield, but almost!

“He is a very large boy, probably about 17 pounds,” says Kelsey Scoular with the Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society (AARCS).

If you love Garfield, you’ll want to meet ‘Arnold.’

Scoular says the chunky orange tabby cat is waiting for a new home to hang out in.

But unlike his famous counterpart, Arnold likes to cuddle.

“He is an amazing guy, he loves to give hugs, he loves to curl up on the couch and just, he’s full of love.”

The three to five year-old feline is laid back, doesn’t mind other cats or even dogs — but loves people.

You can out find out more about him at aarcs.ca
