Nine-year-old in critical condition after ski accident

A nine-year-old girl is in hospital after a skiing accident at Nakiska on Sunday afternoon.
It happened just after 1:00 p.m., when the girl was found unconscious and unresponsive by other skiers on the hill.
The ski patrol arrived and determined the girl was in critical condition and started CPR.
STARS Air Ambulance was dispatched to the scene and transported the girl to the Alberta Children’s Hospital.
At this time, it’s unclear what exactly happened, but EMS believe it was some sort of collision.
No one else was involved in the incident.
