Panda pandemonium headed to Calgary

Panda-monium is set to take over Calgary.
It’s been confirmed the two cubs born in Toronto earlier this year will be visit our city in 2018, along with adult pandas Er Shun and Da Mao.
Calgary Zoo spokesperson Trish Exton-Parder said they’ve been keeping a close eye on the cubs development at the Toronto Zoo.
“They’ve been very diligent in caring for these wee ones,” she explained. “The exciting news is the cubs would indeed be coming here with Da Mao and Er Shun, the adult pandas.
“We can’t call them a family yet because we haven’t seen if Da Mao is in fact the father. It was artificial insemination, so that is still to be determined, as well as the sex of the cubs. We will be looking to ensure that there is space for the four. And if they breed here as well, we need to ensure there’s space for other cubs.”
Calgary hasn’t seen the panda’s since 1988, when 1.3 million people lined up to see them.
The cubs will be in Canada for four years before hitching a ride overseas.
