Members of the Alberta Law Enforcement and Response Team have closed a notorious drug house, bringing two years of alleged drug activity at the home to an end.
A judge issued them a community safety order, effectively closing the property for 90 days.
Inspector Mike Letourneau said during this time, the homeowner will be barred from entering or occupying the property.
“When he reposesses this property at the end of 90 days, there’s a likelihood of that property being in a little bit of financial distress as well. But we may be looking at a sale of this property and then rid this person out of the community,” Letourneau said.
RCMP in Innisfail had been called to the home 24 times over the last 8 months.
